My Story

A Licensed Professional Here to Guide You

Life can surprise us with both the challenges it brings and the things that inspire and motivate us. After earning a BS from UC Berkeley in Civil Engineering and working as an Environmental Engineer, I found I wanted a career with more human connection, and found my calling in Clinical Psychology.  I graduated from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University in 2011 with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with special emphasis in Neuropsychology.  My clinical training included a pre-doctoral internship at the Phoenix VA Healthcare System and a postdoctoral fellowship with the Human Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory at the Martinez VA.  My work since has included supporting clients through individual psychotherapy, neuropsychological assessment, and leading small groups.  I have helped clients in nursing facilities, a day program for those living with TBI, clients going through vocational programs, and individuals facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance use, trauma, and other challenges from their past and present.

Therapy requires commitment by both the client and clinician, but can be life changing. I strongly believe that good therapy starts with the right fit between and client and therapist. Working with a professional psychologist that is a good match with you can improve the quality of your life.
